The BCYS Mission Statement
The Birmingham Catholic Youth Service seeks to understand, encourage and empower young people in their search for meaning in life, to respond to the invitation of Jesus Christ to wholeness, friendship and community.
We aim to achieve our mission by working with 11-25 year olds across our Archdiocese. We provide training and support for parishes that have, or are looking to start a youth group. We organise events, retreats and pilgrimages, locally and Diocesan wide. We also provide opportunities for young adults and run young leader training for teenagers.
This website is designed to keep you informed about our current events as well as reporting on past events and signposting resources and other opportunities. This 'home' page will give you a flavour of what’s happening - see the various links or menu on the left for more detailed information.
