Network
Meetings
Network meetings take place once a term and are a great way for Youth
Leaders and those involved in youth work to come together to share ideas,
resources and gain information about events and activities. We ask for
one or more representative from a parish/youth group to attend the meeting
if possible.
Youth Alive
Youth Alive is an event
for Young People that takes place every term. For the past 6 years, it
has taken place at St Chad's Cathedral
& Grimshaw Room but from next Easter, it will move around the deaneries
of Birmingham. The evening consists of a Youth Mass and Social. There's
also a great tuckshop and a great opportunity to meet lots of new people
from around Birmingham. All this for only £1 !!!
So if you're Yr5+ and would like to experience Youth Alive for yourself,
come along to the next one in
Retreats
to Alton & Soli
Each year we take groups of Young people from parish
youth groups to Alton Castle and Soli House. These retreats offer a difference
experinece to a school retreat and enable young people to meet and mix
with other young people from Birmingham and from another area of the diocese
(at Soli House).
Youth groups are given first places and then the retreats are open to
individuals from Birmingham parishes.
Alton Castle
