Taizé trip

For many years, BCYS have taken a group of young Catholic adults from the Black Country to Taizé, in France. This year BCYS are excited to be organising an Archdiocesan trip to the ecumenical community of Taizé for young people aged between 16 - 24.

NEW STRUCTURE FOR YOUTH SERVICES
Many people took part in a consultation
exercise in 2008
concerning the future of Diocesan youth services, and
His Grace the Archbishop recently issued a statement on the subject.
This can now be viewed on the
Diocesan & BCYS websites. The 'board' to which His Grace refers
now meets on a monthly basis and the notes from those meetings
are now available on the Diocesan website at
http://www.birminghamdiocese.org.uk

Soli House Retreats
Soli House Easter Retreat
This years Easter retreat will run from
Thur 1st - Sun 4th April 2010
Arrivals are from
4 - 5.30pm
on the Thurs
and departures after Mass on Sunday around 2.15-2.45pm
(the programme is not finalised yet).
The price of the retreat is £60 and is open to all students in Year 11
or above.
To reserve a place on the retreat, young people should write to
Soli at:
Soli House, Mill Lane, Stratford-upon-Avon, WARWICKS, CV37 6BJ
Please give your name and address, and the payment.
You will then receive the necessary consent forms etc, in the post. You
will need to make your own transport arrangements, and places on this
retreat are limited.

next WYD will be in Madrid, Spain in 2011.
